Molson67 supports Good Life Toronto Marathon?

Apparently Molson is breaking into the endurance athlete market…?

“Molson 67 - Be sure to stop by the Molson 67 Booth to receive your free 6 pack (1 per person) for registered participants who are 19 years and older.”

As sent along with my Bib Number confirmation email I received a few days ago. I am not complaining and I am certainly going to pick up a 6pack I am just taken back by this being in the email. I’ve seen micro breweries sponsor smaller scale races ie. the Niagara Ultra but an international road race. Maybe it’s just the fact there giving it away for free… Than again I wouldn’t consider buying it otherwise so I suppose it is an effective way of marketing to now make it an option to purchase.

What are everyones thoughts?
